PROS & CONS of after market rearsets

If the rear set is cast and then cnc'd grade 8 bolts will not matter, the cast metal will fail first. I used ss cap screws (most likely softer than grade5) to mount mine to the frame (the pegs have the bolts provided with the sets) and have never had a problem. I crashed my 04 3 times and the 1098 once, nothing ever snapped, just pegs ground away. Ever snap a pedal on your bicycle, it hurts! I'll stick with what has been proven to work........
 
I finished the installation, I used 10.9 and 12.9 replacing 95% of the bolts and reused the H-D grade 8 for the main bolts.
I just came back from my test ride and I like it, sifting is extremely sharp and I lower 1" the pegs. I happy so far.

That looks like a gp set up.... It looks like there is a weird angle on the shift cam. Over time it might brake the shift rod.

But I've been wrong before....
