Purchasing EBR exhaust and speed of color parts.

Well I can say that its prolly not the most practical or functional thing to do. Like I said, if you are not putting anything but the original headers back on then your efforts may be futile. The thing is I have an irresponsible amount of experience doing things that shouldn't be done...

I have aircraft hands, so I was able to squeeze my hand between the frame, engine, and swing arm so I could get my wrench onto the header nuts.

BUT... If there is a demand for this than I am more than willing to write up the detailed steps...

As you can tell though I'm still looking for assistance in my endeavor.

It does when i first read this thread i was about to post up the diy but i read what bike it was, i have ne experience with the 1125.

Good luck getting it on vodka.

Just got done working...

Bad news is that you indeed cannot install the EBR exhaust without some kind of main component removal. We just got finished dropping the swing arm and there is not enough clearance for the rear header to be installed.

So after all of that, the removal of the entire stock exhaust system is possible without any real maintenance at all. Again though, its superfluous unless you are reinstalling the OG exhaust.

I appreciate everyone's input, this was quite a learning experience... But looks like I'm going to have to choose another method of installing this header.

End result...

To be honest, with all the combined hours...

Four and half hours total. Not too bad honestly, the difficulty was... Well, kinda hard to tell. For someone who is mechanically experienced it shouldn't be a problem as long as long as they have a quality jack.

For someone who is just getting used to mechanics it could be overwhelming, horribly overwhelming. Especially if you do not have a quality jack, seriously...

So I'm convinced that everyone here should be fine doing something like this. Just have your stuff in order and it will be fine.

Hahahaha, to be honest the jack was garbage. I got it from Harbor Freight for $100. That was the most difficult part about the job, but we got it done.
