Well i am trying to decide either to re-polish my head pipes and race pipe or go with black header wrap and hi temp black paint on the race pipe. Anyone have pics of a set up like this? thanks!!!

Wrapped header with Ceramic race Pipe.

Wonder if the lava rock titanium wrap is paintable.
I like the looks of black wrap.

I just wrapped mine today (3rd time), bit cold out but happy to be riding on Jan 10 in Buffalo NY.

Sorry to get off the topic.....
just wanted to ask dinosaurs what exhaust he has? I have same bike and want a drummer ss. It looked like thats what had and wanted to know how he liked it.

I have been polishing for a few years now and was thinking of moving into another direction. Ceramic coatings are not an option for me this year but that will be my number one mod next year. I might just keep the head pipes polished and either flat black the muffler or leave it how it is now.

It is a drummer SS. I just installed it a few days ago, and was riding it today to relearn the ecm. The sound is 100% better, The performance is slightly better, it feels like it has better low end and that stumble that i had on accel is gone. I don't have any other engine mods though. The cost was high for a gutted can but the workmanship/look is awesome. I called Kevin Drum and he said he had 3-4 in stock and it showed up a couple days later. easy install. great customer service. I thought about several other pipes but after I read the americansportbike exhaust review and seeing pictures i thought the drummer ss was the best.

Thanks for the reply dinosaurs! just one more quick question did you ask for the exhaust exit on that side, or is that the way Kevin makes them!
