I was riding and pulled in to a gas station to gas up.I filled up started up and started going through the gears .I heard a screaching noise and the bike started like lurching I pulled over and saw that most of the teeth were gone on the drive belt.I shut it down and tried to shift into neutral. No neutral light and the tranny doesn't seem to shift through all the gears.I trucked it home but I don't know what caused this just a bad belt or did something let go in the tranny that caused the belt to shear the teeth??It is a 2005 9xb with 21,000 miles. The idler pulley is tight and not scored or wobbley

It isnt the easiest just be patient and give it some time. You might just need to roll the bike using the clutch lever to help in the shifting[up]

Had a hell of a time well all the guys I was with to include RT geting my bike into N after my crash a month or so ago.
