I'm thinking of getting rid of the cheese grater and the rear fender but I'm a little timid on just hacking it off with a grinder. Any suggestions? Is there anywhere you can buy a chopped fender? (I haven't looked real hard yet)

I just did this to my bike, because I gave up on finding one to purchase. Every thing I was finding was like $200 and up. so I decided to "trim the one I had and by a pipe instead... Long story short it was not difficult just a little time consuming, and only required three tools.

The first cut was with a sawzall to rebove the majurity of the material, then a 4" grinder then to fine tune the profile I used a 2" high speed disc sander.

I will take a couple when I get the parts back from the powder coater or put back on the bike. might be a couple days, but hopefully by this weekend.
