Hello, I am attempting to change out a bad cooling fan. In the manual it says to remove the top of the rear shock mount by lifting the back wheel off the ground via the rear jack point of the exhaust. I have the back wheel well off the ground with a scissor jack on the rear jack point, but it seems that the allen bolt holding the top of the shock to the frame is refusing to give. I have tried using a breaker bar, and still nothing. Is there something I'm not doing in order to release the tension from the rear shock?
Thanks for the help

its starting to look that way. I managed to work the bottom shock mount bolt out hoping that would allow me to remove the top( the one I actually need to remove) but its still holding strong. Any tips on a good breaker bar to use with the allen wrench?
Thanks[mad]

I usually use either the box end of a combination wrench that's the same size as the allen key... or a if that's too small a large adjustable "crescent" wrench tighted down on the alley key right where it comes out of the head of the bolt. you can even do dual crescent wrenches on opposite sides to get a push/pull action going and not have to worry about bending your allen key..

finally got it loose by standing on the breaker bar after a good soaking with the pb blaster. I thought the bolt had stripped for sure when I felt it give; but luck was on my side this time. Thanks for all the help guys.
Kyle
