Dumb question but what the heck. I have the tranny in, gasket set is coming tomorrow. Will it have new oil seals in it? They don't give you a breakdown of whats in the gasket set. I ordered a complete overhaul gasket set for the XB motor. Also, now that I have the transmission in I used a little screwdriver to turn the shift drum and it now feels spring loaded. Must have something to do with the mechanism inside the case. The drum moves in and out as it goes through the gears. Feels pretty darn smooth. Anyway, it works as follows..
One click down and its engaged. Half click up and its neutral, 4 more clicks up and its engaged every time.
