Just for a future note, removing the headers on the 09 xb 12r, "is a pain in the butt!" I have been trying to pull my exhaust so i can wrap them and didn't realize how much of a pain it was. I tried everything I could, besides dropping the motor. After working on it for the last 3 nights I gave up and wrapped them on the bike. Turned out ok, not what i wanted though. It was all because of the o2 bunt on the back header, there is absolutely no room between the motor and frame. Any advice? [smirk]

As far ask know, you do have to rotate the motor to get the rear off& on. Wich is a little big job ;)

if you want to take more stuff apart theres a thread on here that shows you step by step how to take the tail section off and you can get to the bolts that way without rotating the engine. I'll see if I can find it and post it up for you incase you have to do this again at some point in time.
