will this unit cure a lean situation from adding a micron full system and a hi flow filter unable to get race ecm to run properly

not worth it...get it remapped, you will have the best result and it will put a big :D on your face!

What facilities are required to re-map or can i purchase a remapped item to suit local dealer has limited buell knowledge in remote location australia thanks adam1202

I run a Micron and Race ECM w/ '07 airbox, K+N and relocated breather vents and don't have any real issues with the fuel map. I just bumped the plugs down to one notch cooler and the OEM plugs looked great.

If it's coughing in the mid-range at around 3000 RPM, that's pretty common even with the stock parts on the 12s.

If I ride mine a bit aggressively, ie: keep the R's above 3200 most of the time, it rarely has a problem with the cough.

yeah carnt say that mine coughs but when backing off the throttle it after fires through the exhaust quite a bit every one i speak to says it will run lean with those modifications what do think about the after firing thanks adam1202

full micron?

all i'm saying is that you will feel a difference with the setup

full micron - race ecm - open airfilter
&
full micron - remap - open airfilter

all you actually need is a dyno & an usb-key and someone who knows what they are doing.
it does not have to be a HD/Buell dealer, but a technician has to know how to tune engines.

thanks i will make enquiries about dyno locations getting a tech that knows how to tune the engine is going to be the biggest problem they seem few and far between do you think the setup is likely to cause any damage in the mean time have had no indications of hot running so far. Thanks adam1202

nah, it won't cause damage, but it will run so much better with the remap.

for a location down under, maybe you can ask <<here@ABR>>
