Just wanted to put my opinion out there to maybe help anyone considering learning how to tune their bike. A little on myself, I have zero experience in tuning, very little knowledge on electrical systems, and average computer knowledge (mostly mac, not so much no pc). So really as close to completely clueless on doing this as you can be.

The tuning seminar itself lasted about 2 hours, beginning with detailed directions on where and how to locate and download the proper software to perform the tune. After everyone seemed comfortable with that the class moved to how to perform the actual tune. Max (theoctopus) was very detailed and made sure everyone understood everything before moving to each new thing. As someone who was clueless to this process I had lots of questions, and he answered each of them in terms I could understand. Excelent instructor overall, finished the class with a good understanding of what I needed to do to start tuning my bike.

After the class was completed I borrowed a cable from a friend and started the process of tuning. As questions arose Max was very prompt in responding to me (usually it was instant feedback via text). Just today I did my last tuning ride to smooth out my low rpm range, and now my bike is fully tuned and running awesome. As someone who previously had a EBR ECM, then returned it due to poor runnning issues...this is a MUCH better option. My bike runs like a beast, but I'm not having any of the issues I experienced with the EBR ECM.

Overall I am thrilled with the results from the tuning class. Max's instruction has made me go from zero understanding of tuning to being comfortable operating the software and performing an accurate and well running tune on my bike. I highly recommend his class to anyone who wants to learn how to tune their bike...it is a much less expensive, and completely accurate to your bike, than a pre-programmed plug in option. Granted it takes a little longer to get the results, but definitely worth it!

Great review and I agree. This was my 2nd session and I got even more this time around. The fact that you got some personal assistance after the class shows it was well worth the money. A class act for sure. Now if spring would come ...

Thanks guys. The positive review is much appreciated.

RJ, shhhhhh, that's our little secret. I only showed you nipple to get you to put your pants back on.

TJ1 - he does them online...so you can take the class anywhere you want as long as you have a computer with an internet connection and paper to take good notes.

Haha onelogue, if that's the case I'm glad he was teaching with audio only!

Not that I know of, just PM him and he will set up a date/time that works for you.

TJ, these days I offer private sessions for $125. As you can see, you get the whole package with the webinar: tech support from start to finish.
