I was a dumbass today and took off without my gloves and jacket. I'll admit to not wearing full leathers to work for aesthetic reasons, but for not wearing the others I'm in a lot of unnecessary pain.

My frame pucks saved the bike except for one side of the clubmans.

I have a severely bruised ankle, and rash on my legs, arms, chest, ankles, and toe from where my shoe disintegrated.

I hit gravel and couldn't correct, so I slowed as much as I could and went into a wall of an on-ramp.

no stitches, but I did get a phone number of a doctor as I walked out lol. Not sure her exact motive but I celebrated with some cake. Cake makes things better.

mate... damn, taht must hurt. i have just been riding today for work instead of using the company car. business shirt, jeans, shoes, glves and open face. do it often. i always ride with gloves. but the helmet is a choice between open and closed. i like open in sydney trafic. the jacket around the city is an option considered due to niceness of day, but....

seeing that certainly reminds me of the risks we take sometimes.

hope you feel better soon.

i am about to head out for another meeting in an hour. maybe i will done taht jacket too.

Thanks guys. And I know squid, it was just stupidity in the moment. I've only had her back together a week.

Wow some of that rash looks gnarly. Especially that hole in your hand. Glad it didn't end up worse.

Damn man! How fast were you going? Ive started getting comfy riding round town without my jacket, but i never go above 30 and its mainly only 26 or less. And a mile to class and a mile back.

So sorry for your misfortune. Props to you for owning up to being stupid and posting a warning. You are a good person for doing this. PLease learn from your mistake this time wolfo. Life is short. Learn to preserve each moment.
SAfe journeys to you forever more. [up]

Sorry to hear..sucks you crashed again..but on a brighter note you did get a doctors
phone # [up] Get well soon

the bike is fine, just ruined a grip, grinded the clutch side of my clubmans and broke the shifter toe peg again and the airbox went to pieces. the frame puck and my leg took the brunt of it.

I definitely hurt this morning.

Wolf Wolf Wolf.... (sighhhhhhh) glad your ok! You know better... Hope one of these days you dont prove me wrong about that

Glad you are OK for the most part! I believe everything happens for a reason, and the doctor could be the reason. Heal up quick and keep us posted on your progress.[cool]

No, for real your hand... oh god that would suck ass. I can deal with my legs and arms getting torn up. but my hands, I think not. I'm a programmer, so if my hands don't work... neither do I, and with your wounds on your hands, I'd never be able to do my work. That would depress me big time.

I'm always wearing full gear. It's good to see you're basically alright though.
