Rim Stripes

Did you use anything magical to get the rims ultra-cleaned before applying the tape?

anybody have these on silver wheels in black? thoughts?

I think that would look slick, as long as the tape didn't extend all the way out to the tire - that may end up making it look like you had 15"-16" rims instead. But with a thin, centered black strip - nice.

Just ordered some of the blue tape for my amber rims - plastics are thrust blue. It's a pretty inexpensive gamble, so why not?
