Curious to whether anyone has run Titax levers, I am looking at either those or the folding Rizoma levers. But want to hear pros/cons if anyone has them???

Thanks X

I agree the price is steep. Just not sure if the quality is higher or there over the Titax?

But I like the Rizoma Hand controls, the Sport Line Grips, probably the only "cheaper" Rizoma mod I like better than the other. Also looking at possibly the Rearset and rear pulley... I figure they would all look killer with my Rizoma pulley cover.

Originally I was going to just put my bike together using spare parts or knock-offs, but with all the work I am doing I figure quality and top of the line is the way I want to go. I am going to splurge in a couple areas and controls is one of them.

Basically when I am done my bike will be a custom show bike that is still able to ride hard. There are a couple things I have that will end up being changed later in the season but for now they will stay, ie tires, and a brake transformation.

Needless to say the rebirth of my 2003 wont be happening well sort of because I now have a 2007 frame that will be my new bike as titled;) Bike will be made up of '07 Frame, '07 Forks, '07 Tail, '09 Swing Arm, and my '03 motor[smirk], then the rest will be aftermarket.

CRG makes a nice set of folding roll-a-click levers too. Might wanna check them out, I have them and they are great.

My last set were CRG, they were great levers but I am looking for something with cleaner lines. Plus for the price I figure I would step up to ASV's and if I was going to step up to possible C5's I would just go all out. I found the Titax for $190 shipped to my door, so that is actually cheaper than the C5's but doesn't have the warranty

So I think I am between the Titax or C5's, Those came out of left field[smirk]

Thats cool, but still to much for me to justify spending on levers. I vote ASV C5's, for the levers, the Rizoma rear set, and I prefer this pulley over the Rizoma

I have thought about that pulley as well, more so actually than the Rizoma since it is basically hidden on the wheel, following the spokes and I like clean lines.

I am all jacked up, not sure what I was thinking on the Rizoma rear set I hate them[smirk], they remind me of little butterfly wings.

The rear set I had in mind was the Sato Racing Rear set.

I need to go through everything again, that is after I go to sleep. I am out for the next 6hrs......[cool]

Thats why I like it, the only reason I have not purchased it is I am waiting to see what Pointdoc on buelletinboard.com comes up with. He is going to make a pulley with different tooth count to gear up the bike a bit. [up]

I think I saw a set of silver shorty levers and the billet shifter levers on ebay last night for $200.

Correction they are actually on craigslist in Orlando $200 for adjustable levers and billet foot levers all in silver.
