Holy Buckets it was raining hard last night.

I was 35 miles from home at a police training facility. As soon as I stepped outside to head home the skys opened up and started pouring!!!!

Riding Gear: Dress Slacks, Dress shirt, Dress shoes and a helmet. No jacket, no gloves.

It was raining so hard that our Arizona roads were flooding QUICK. So my thought to pull off and wait it out didn't seem to be very solid of an idea. So I maned up and rode it out. Friggin rain KILLED at 70 miles an hour on the freeway.

By the time I got home, I put my foot down to step off my bike and heard "Squish". I took my shoes of and literally poured a cup of water out in each.

Rain sucks

Isn't that fun,
I had to ride up to and back from Vegas one night, and it rained the whole trip. It finally quit raining in Wickenburg so most of my gear dried out but the boots were swimming pools, and of course the time that I got stuck in the Hail Storm, wound up with over 200 bruises on my arms thighs and chest.
I have at times pulled under an overpass to wait the hard stuff out.
Good to see that you made it OK. If you Don't ride it in the bad stuff, you can't appreciate it in the Good Stuff.

p.s. it only rained enough here to dirty the truck up.

LOL, I'm right there with you.
Luckily we live in a state where we only get about 20 days of rain a year, but when it does rain, it's nuts.

Yea man, I actually have to wash my bike today. Usually my bike stays clean without much care here, but when I went to the garage today it was a mess.

It rains there too,
I lived on Hickham AFB in the '70's and we where flooded out by a huge storm.
on my previous post, the truck got rained on good this morning. The Better 1/2 and I are going to take a run up to Payson-Pine-Camp Verde, and back Tomorrow, and yes RAIN is in the Forcast.

Well, Made the trip, 261 miles and Not a Drop of Rain. Bike ran great, used about 5 gallons of fuel, roughly 50 mpg, not bad for 2 up with gear. Buelltiful Views op the way up and across to Camp Verde.
