Hey, I've been looking around to see if anyone makes full roller rockers for our bikes and have yet to find any, They make them for the older buells that ran a standard sportster engine up to 2002 but thats it. I have just been thinking how cool it would b to build a full roller engine with roller lifters, and full needle bearing rockers, would reduce alot of wear and be way quieter. Just a though.

2008 XB12R 25th limited edition. Bone Stock.

All of the Twin Cam/XL rockers will work in the XBs. There is nothing special about our rocker arms. Roller rockers are usually more noisy than non-roller tips, too. Roller rockers don't really help too much unless you have .600" or larger cams. The valvetrain geometry is pretty good for stock cams and valve guides rarely wear out. The stock lifters are roller lifters.

Yeah, i realized after I posted that that the buells have roller lifters, I run roller rockers in my 5.0 and there super quiet. I just figured having full roller rockers would make the top end last at least a little longer. Reduce some friction. I've also been looking at Chromium Nitrate coatings for the valves, lifters, cams, and transmission gears. I figure once my engine does let go of life, I'll resurrect it with some trick parts. Also been looking at Swain Tech coatings for there Gold Coat piston and combustion chamber coatings and there PC9 coating for gears and bearings.
