Sad, but totally avoidable. That's the real tragedy here. Wear your gear and don't stunt on the streets...
My thoughts and condolences to his family and friends.
RIP Robert.

Does this site have a tribute page for Buellers that pass away? Unlike most other bikes Buell is a tight community where we all feel hurt at the passing of one of our own. RIP Robert.

It is with a heavy heart that I share the fact that Robert Hassler passed away today around 11:00am from the injuries sustained in this accident.

Either this guy saying this is a terrible person, or Rob is out to a better place. The last thing I want to hear-- and I don't know the guy from Adam. Ride safe guys, or it will be the last mistake you will ever make.

How did you come to this conclusion? "Heavy heart" means he's sad.

I meant either he is lying about Rob's death, or he is right. I see now that Rob has passed, and I wish the best for his family, friends, and his soul.

Rest in peace, brother. You are in good hands now. Let it not be forgotten that despite all things said on this forum, you one of us. A family member in this tight-knit community. My heart goes out to all who knew him, family especially.

Ive held off on commenting on this topic until now. You all know im one to call someone out and say what i believe (being the first one to call out his 160mph claim.) But with a topic like this I try to refirne speaking my believes since the person isnt here to defend themselves. Now that Rob has past i want to say this.

Rob, Enjoy yourself where ever you go. Either way, at least you past doing something you loved and enjoyed.

Putting age aside, I cant imagine a better way to pass.

"I would rather bust through the gates of Hell burning, rolling, broken, yelling “MAN what a ride!” Then arrive safely at the gates of heaven wishing I lived more."

Rest in Peace Rob.

You will be missed. The bueller community has suffered a loss. God bless you and your family this Christmas Season.

I did not know him but I feel the loss of a fellow rider. May he be with God. My prayers for him and his family.
