SO I just scored some booty! I'm always treasure hunting Craig's List for Buell parts, since we all know parts will be harder to find soon. Well, there was an add here in St Louis for forks for a Buell Thunderbolt and a front wheel. The pic of the wheel showed an Amber XB wheel. SO I swung out to get the wheel, only to find that the forks where actually from an XB12SCG. So I got a complete front end, wheel, brakes,tree, handle bars and forks for just $200.
I have been wanting these forks for a while, but just didn't want to spend the cash for a new set. Cant wait to do the swap. Not sure if I will break them down and powdercoat them first.

I saw that and almost jumped on it as well, especially if there'd have been a matching rear wheel. I did jump on another ad though! (more to follow)
