Running Light works half the time?!

ok guys since i have changed the front end to the xb12r front and put an HID kit in my running light section of the taillight will work when i have her on the first time. after that it will not work once i shut her off and turn her back on.

any help would be great. should i use a delay fuse for the headlights? could there be a short somewhere?

i just dont know what is going on right now.

Are you running a relay of any kind for the HIDs?

it sounds like it blew a fuse. Check all your fuses, probably a 15 amp

I had that issue. Make sure all your connectors, especially your negative are all sealed. if one is grounding it will cause the headlight to either flicker on and off or just stay off. A little heat shrink or even just some electrical tape should be sufficient.

The HID kit is straight hook up and has built in relays on the ballast connectors. I have not checked the fuses yet. All the connectors are sealed and shrink wrapped, but the headlights are working fine.
