S.O.S. Need New ECM!!!???

Well still same problem... Would love to ride the bike at least once this year.

Try this:


Unplug the starter solenoid wire, and install an appropriately gauged wire in it's place.

Turn the bike on, prime the pump, but do not hit the starter button.

Crank the engine over by touching the starter solenoid wire to the positive terminal on the battery. Make sure to release it if/when the engine starts!


Without seeing your bike, it sounds like you may have a wiring issue which is interfering with power being supplied to the injectors only while starting (ie relay being de-energized).

Wait so are you suppose to not be able to start your motorcycle if your clutch isn't engaged? Is that what the safety sensor is for?
