I was wondering if there are other Sacramento area Buell owners here. I just bought an 1125CR and I love it. I come from a Ducati background so I'm pretty involved in the Ducati culture here, being President and founder of the Ducati Owners Group of Sacramento kind of lets you know how I feel about the brand. However, after seeing the rebate offer then doing research on the 1125 model, I realized it might be time to experience a different bike. I'm really glad I did because the Buell offers V Twin power but with the rawness of motorcycling since its the CR model. I was lucky enough to find one in Nevada that had the raised handlebar upgrade, just what I wanted.

I went on a "Ducati" group ride last weekend and I was surprised to see another 1125 show up for the ride. He was a friend of a friend so we immediately had something in common, which is cool. He has the R model.

Let me know, thanks

Up here in Grass Valley. Roads are getting wet/slick in the canyons. Got 06 XB9 City Cross, hav-in fun. Keep me posted if your rides come my way.

Down in Stockton, but make my way to Sac quite a bit. Have an 09 XB12Ss and a '90 Duc 851 (out of action until I can afford to have it looked at).

Hey Johnny, there is another bueller on a CR in roseville. He's on another buell forum, buelletinboard.com His name on there is HomeBrewBillet

My dad lives in sac town, next time I go visit him I'll harass y'all.
If'n y'all Evers come out to sonoma county ,kissing the coast ,yinz can give mr a shout.[smirk]

Yuba City here. As soon as I find the Ulysses that's right for me, I'd be interested in a scenic ride.

Up towards where Rocky Bar lives are some brilliant riding roads. The only probs are bicyclists with a death wish and potholes from the gravel trucks. Oh yeah and the gravel trucks.

I work at Beale AFB which is very close to all of these roads, and would love to roll deep with a few Buellers.

Again, I have to actually pick up an XB12X first.

I know there's a lot more Buell riders out here than are on this forum too. I see them all the time. They're mostly XB's but I've seen a couple tubers too.

Hope to see you guys soon.

Bicyclists with a death wish & potholes ...sounds like my neighborhood!

A lot of the terrain up in the foothills is perfect for riding, but try to do it on a weekday to avoid the guys in spandex.

There are a lot of off-camber reducing radius turns that make you really commit to the corner, but then as you pop out the other side, you're greeted by seventysix pounds of pissed off vegan on a bike that costs more than your Buell.
He's in your lane with nowhere to go, and barely enough brakes and tires to slow down on those hills.... and he yells at YOU when you pass him. To make it worse you'll end up not being able to avoid the pothole which promtly breaks your bike and/or browns up your boxers for you.

I try my very best to respect everyone's use of the road but some people really make it tough.

I live in Sacramento and just picked up an 2003 XB 9r. I use to ride a Ducati 996 that got stolen last year. I love this bike. I is so different than what i am use to. I am planning on taking the Zoom Zoom trake class to see what this thing can do.
If any one wants to ride the let me know. I also just join the Saramento Crotch Rockets and i will be at there Wednesdy meeting this week.

[up], I finally joined a Buell forum. Wow, after four years of owning two different 1125r's. Hey guys, my name is Faeez. I moved from the Bay Area to the Greenhaven - Pocket area. Been here approximately 7-8 months now. I am a very uniquely proud owner, of an exotics American bred neck breaker. My 2009 Buell 1125r in racing red. :D

Im so jealous of you guys... I was in Napa valley last week and took a day to go see the redwoods and drive around the mountains. Those roads are fucking fantastic. Sa jealous. Nothing quite like that in Ohio :(

I grew up in the bay area and I miss it like crazy. Jealous of the awesome roads, weather and everything else awesome about the place in general. :(

Yeah we're really spoiled for great riding roads here. Even on my commute to work I have the choice of a slab ride or twisty foothills fun.

I'm on my second Buell since this thread started. I owned an STT and now I have an 08 1125r.

BTW,I've seen another 1125r in black like mine and an xb12 with a Micron exhaust here in Yuba. Are either one of those one of you guys?

I'm in Fairfield and work in Rancho. New to my Buell.......just getting to know it.

Doesnt seem like there is alot of sacramento action for buells on this website but I definately have seen quite a few bikes in sac. I have an x1, my brother has an xb9s and a buddy has an xb12ss so were down to ride if anyone wants to meet up. Preferrably on weekends.
