Salesmen Ignorance

I have heard quite a few ****** things come out of the mouths of salemen over the years. Just thought I would put them down here for others to contemplate.

#1 "It's well over 100 hp, and the best thing is it's water cooled". I was stitting on a 07 Uly at the time. I asked where the radiator was then. Without hesitation he replied, "Under the seat".

#2 "The reason Buell's are only sold through H-D is because erik was stealing parts so the company took over." I spent some time with this one trying to educate him. What a waste.

#3 "People only race them on the track, they were not a everyday bike." I then asked why then the passenger pegs? Federal Mandates was the answer. WOW

#1 is f-ing hillarious. Should have asked him if they use the same radiator on the Sporsters as well.
I was at the local HD dealer the other day getting my tires mounted when I had one try to sell me a Sporster. I told him I was riding a 12r and he actually told me the new sporsters were made to out handle the 12r. I laughed and said I'm not into all the chrome polishing after every ride. With out a beat he told me that the new chrome did not have to be polished. It stays clean and has some new space age coating on it so dirt doe not stick to it. HA HA HA HA HA!!!!
