I'll be at the Alum Rock Shell gas station right off 680 around 9:30. Figure if you're coming from Daly City that time might work out ok. I'll check the thread when I get there and see if anyone wants to meet up. I'll probably just do the hamilton, mines loop instead of going all the way to 5, but we'll see.
 
oops, running a little late still here, dont wait for me, but will do fill up gas @ shell before going up 130. I'm sure Im going to run into you @ 130 or mines rd. I'm going in 15min
 
I'm in San Jose, but I'm currently still repairing my baby after my wreck. I'll be up and running again in a couple weeks or less
 
sounds good. havent taken this route before, so I'll be slow...and probably stop a few times. I'm leaving shell station @ 945. Valencia orange cg with trunk bag.
 
missed you out there papa. stopped at the observatory and ran into two Uly's. BS'ed for a bit. you might have passed me. Mines road is sweet! could do without Mt. Hamilton.
 
Yep, I was looking for your Buell I didn't get too see it, I left @ 9:15 was @ shell exactly 9:51, left there around 10nish.. passed you? nah... reason why I wanted to ride w/ somebody I want to improve my skills & see how you guys ride the tight turns.. I was so worried of dropping the xb again I was riding it so slow. I kinda like the 130 from Mt hamilton to Patterson though. Mines rd. is ok too but, didn't like the 1 lane sections.. we'll try again next time!
 
Anyone riding this weekend? I'll probably be going my usual 9 to 35 to???? Up for other ideas too.
 
I know you just did it last weekend, but I had something come up and couldn't so I was going to do Del Puerto/Mines this weekend. Could meet you at the Junction and ride from there. If you do 9 and 35, I might be able to make it all the way out there but probably can't do that ride Saturday, only Sunday.

I might ride tomorrow, where you guys planning to ride tom? & around what time? I want to try 9, is traffic heavy there? or just like del puerto?
 
Didn't turn on Del Puerto last time, but mines had very little traffic...not even many bikes. 9 has more traffic definitely, just close to me. Getting to mines is the rough part...but maybe I just need to work on my riding on goaty roads.

I'm up for anything though...2-3 hour ride.
 
not so great here today, foggy & wet roads, I'll wait a little longer till it clears, I might ride 35, but it must be wet as well. hows the weather down there in the San jose/Sta clara area?
 
yeah...same here. very overcast and probably wet up 9 and all the way to the coast. will be going today, just a matter of it clearing up.
