Glad you are still with us Dave! $520 dang, thats how much it cost me to replace my wheel from a pothole! $518.80 lol [down]

I do my work myself too, but I needed the parts right away so they took them off of a usedshowroom bike. They wouldn't just had me the parts.

Damn dave I could have next air expressed you the **** for under a bill, I hope you learned your lesson on that one.

Hell even ASB will next day **** for you they did for me on my belt and it was only an extra $30 ontop of shipping, which I figures was worth it since I got to ride all that weekend.

wait i'm confused, you must have used that site AND the stealership to get everything, and that's where the labor time came in? AND THEY CHARGED TO TAKE PARTS OFF THE SHOWROOM BIKE?

Not bad considering he laid his bike down and cost him less than HIS LIFE!

Kinda expensive morning ride there Dave, bet you won't be dong that again anytime soon.

You should have walked into your dealership with steel toe Doc Martens and just started Nut-Jobbing them all.

NUTS!!!!!

since we're talking boots here and I'm lazy, Dave I notice you've got Alpinestar boots there, what's the consensus on wearing MX boots on-road? Should you get on-road boots for on-road driving for any reason? Is it just that MX boots have buckles? ...

Hey I am new here and just read your thread. Glad you're ok man!
So I just got a 09xb12scg i have put 125 miles on it so far and was wondering what would cause my shifter bolt hole to have a very small ammount of moisture under it?

Congrats on the new bike! Is it oil or water? How do you know it's there? Did you take the bolt out?

Thank you.. well I think its oil because it has not dried up in the past hour.. Its on the outer case below the shifter shaft, can't wipe anything off, just looks like moisture on the case..

I've seen that leak before when a bike has been dropped. You may need a new primary cover. Have HD take a look at it. It should be under warranty.

Right on, thank you for the help. yea..its brand new and never been dropped..so I hope! I will have the check it out tomorrow.

hey Dave, looks like u went down a few days before i blew mine up. sucks.

i would've given a left nut to low-side some gravel. instead it took 3 regulators, 2 kits, a new ecm and fkn long time to figure my damage. [up]
