Who's got one (or a pair) and what do you think of it?
I just got an email from motorcycle-superstore with a 25% discount listed for ALL sena technologies products. The 20s was not included in the link they sent me, but everything else was, so I called them on it.

Yep, I scored one for $224 shipped. I don't know how much longer it will work, but all the other stuff was 25% off I think. Good deals to be had on the older models as well if you don't want/need all the bells and whistles.

Not sure if this link will work, but this was it.

I have the sena smh10 and I love it. its great, no problems and its loud enough to make my ears ring and even tune out the race pipe.

That was one thing I was wondering about, noise cancellation or how much you can hear over an exhaust. I've got an RT-XB-1 on my XB but my 1190 is still stock for right now. I'm fairly certain I wouldn't be able to use the Sena with one of my 1125 pipes.

Wind noise has always been my real concern, I have lost a little bit of my hearing because of it I think. They ring all the time (tinitus?) but I score well enough on hearing tests and it's slowly trending to hearing loss as I get older.

My ears ring all the time

yea well it also depends heavily on the helmet you use. I had my sena in my dirt bike helmet when I took my enduro out so that I could communicate to the other guys riding with me and I got a lot of wind noise from their helmets and I could still hear the wind over my music.

then I put it in my shoei rf 1200 which is the quietest helmet i have ever owned when it comes to wind noise. and when I turn the sena volume all the way up it hurts my ears because the music is so loud. but its really great while riding the buell long distance because you don't get that constant droning of wind.

Audio quality is AMAZING. Listened to the radio on the way home, with ear plugs in on the 1190RX and it was clear and audible. Called the wife at the beginning of the ride and ran up over 60+ mph, she had no idea I was even riding the bike until I told her how fast I was going and where I was. If you've ever even REMOTELY considered getting something like this, it's well worth the coin. It will take a little getting used to for the controls, the voice activation stuff isn't perfect, but for a first ride review, it's [up][up][up]

I have one of your rt-3s on my 1125 and I ride with a sena smr 10 and can talk on the phone and listen to music just fine intecom isnt the best but that isnt from the pipe the mic picks up a lot of wind noise but it still works

That's going to be my next test tomorrow, I'll be on the XB9 with a pipe on it. I'll report back on how it sounds later, but if it's anything like today, it will be fine.

After the ride this morning, I will say that this is probably one of the best/neatest toys I've bought in a long time. Beautiful sound, again, my wife could not hear the bike while I was riding. Awesome, 4 thumbs up.
