shorty stock blinkers! pic

Well I was gonna buy some short led blinkers of ebay, but they all come from china and I try not to send any of my money there if possible so me being the kinda guy I am I figured I can do something. So I did,

Not the best pic but they are about 2 inches shorter thand the stock 4 inch blinkers and I think looks very good and I dident support china!

On my xb9sx I couldn't move them to the inside. The lights hit and wouldn't go up far enough to be directed correctly. I just bought a set of rear signals and put them on the front.

I tried it a while ago too, and couldn't put the extensions on the inside for the same reason as dallas, they were hitting the lights. I just moved the rears to the front, and bought new ones for the rear. Looking to replace my front ones anyway. They're the last thing that shakes when I'm sitting at a redlight haha

Did the same mod on both my bikes but instead of putting the extensions inside i went to lowes and got some little plastic tube like pieces ( in the automotive clip section ) that slip right over the threaded rod and was able to tighten down with the stock nuts. The headlamp unit doesn't even touch it.

Well I did not put the extensions on the inside I just cut the stock rod so it was all threads and completly eliminated the extensions all togther

I used Hillman brand 1/2 x .328 x 1 nylon spacers pt # H880440 , there's 2 pieces in each bag for around $1.19 .they slide right over the turn sig rod and leave plenty of adjustment for your headlamp .

What makes a turn signal ILLEGAL? size? visibility?

Ive got kellerman micro's on mine, holy shizz they are tiny, nice and bright though and the lenses are e-marked therefore legal in the UK.

The size is what makes mine illegal. All lights must be DOT approved. Mini's and micro's are not legal in OKlahoma. You'll just have to check with your state laws. My muffler factory racecan,blinkers and mirrors(2"crg's) are all illegal as well as my tag placement oh and both my headlights are on constant so thats illegal too.
