Small run of custom faceplates available

????? xbdashboards has been using the old pegasus for a while. How is that different? Plus, it's not their logo, I recreated it. It's just a "likeness"

ring up Buell's marketing dept and point them to XBDashboards use and sale of their copyrighted material, see how long that site stays live.

i'm a graphic designer, i can recreate anything, but i will not step beyond legal boundaries. it's just bad business.

Wow those are harsh words. Yes, I too am a graphic designer, and in my business, pretty much all I do is recreate logos. It's not bad business, it's life and it benefits the company by spreading the logo. Turning down free advertisement, now that's bad business.

If you don't want to use it, that's fine. I just figured I'd save you an hours work if you were looking for it. I know you don't mass produce, so I figured you'd be ok with it. I'm sorry, I was wrong.

s'ok, man. no need to apologize! not sure why you see those as harsh words, especially being a designer as well. i don't own the stuff so i'm not at liberty to use/sell it.

i've actually got a note in to Buell to see if there is any flexibility with my product and their assets but i'm prepared to hear... no dice. on anything. due to have a call tomorrow so I'll post the outcome.

BUT, thanks for the offer to save some time! just had to point out the issues 'cause most don't understand that it's illegal or chose just to ignore the potential for a lawsuit. i can't afford to play like that. too much at stake.

hey Dave any chance you can share that vector file with me?
I dont even know what a vector is really! I just know thats what they use to print decals, or to lay something over a background right?
I have been dying to put those new emblems on my bike, but cant find them sold anywhere. They look really bad ass.
I have a friend who owns a print shop.

So i thought of my best input for the hooligan V2.0 in tribute to The Type1 bike. . .how about the skull with a gas mask instead of the cross bones? that'd be fly as fuck, still simple but badass? That's the one i wanna see.

i think i have some art i was working with last year that's kinda similar, but i'd also like to try redrawing the front of my bike w/skull incorporated. great idea, Nuage!

i've got a ton of other skulls to play with as well, just need to get a few jobs out today/tomorrow. might have time to play around early this week though. at least with some rough ideas.. .

sorta [sad] i need to get back to my printer too, we started a great conversation but i've got too much on the plate to dive in just yet. want to, just need to focus on the paying work first, unfortunately.
