Really glad someone bumped this post back into view! Love the bikes. Anyone know where to get the tailsection for poison ivy? I would love that on my bolt!

Keppi- great bikes, simply superb work![up]

Keppi, you are a god...with lots of money hahah

The talent is crazy! I am a huge fan of your detail. That exhaust pipe is SEXYYY!

did you have to tune the 1250kit much? How much of a difference does i make can you feel it "seat of the pants?" thinking of getting it or the 1450cc kit

where I live (Bavaria/Germany) the standart XB12 got enough power to fear the Jap-/ and KTM-Bikes...(depends on the rider)
we did the change because both engines had to be rebuilt,
to regard engine reliability, to ensure this, we did aditional work on this engineparts
Flywheel balanced and lighter,
Primary balanced and lighter,
the rockers cleaned and lighter,
worked on the valve seat and changed to kibblewhite intake valves,
removed some material in the manifold,
changed some bearings and checked the gear drive
also the cams ...and so on.

So my answer...
I don´t know how it feel, if u only change pistons and zylinders...

If you have an engine in good condition and u realy need more torque, do the 1450/1474.
Case boring, bore and re-plate throttle body, take some bigger Intake Valves (imo Kibblewhite), ecm remap and in my case do also
Flywheel balancing and lighten,
Primary balancing and lighten,
the rockers cleaned and lighten
Aluminium Pushrods to stand the higher Revs.
Buell Race Can are required,
guys that´s just my 50 Cent [smirk]
