Maybe in Australia it's 21 but in the states they've been screaming 12/12/12 for the longest.

I've noticed in the past that with myths and such interpretation changes or gets screwed up form place to place. I worked with a guy for Argentina before and it was Friday the 13th and someone mentioned it at a stop we were at. Driving down the road a few minutes later he questioned me about what it was. I explained to him about the movies and Freddy Cougar and the superstition behind the date and he started laughing. I questioned why he was laughing and he said in his country the movie was Tuesday the 13th and that every Tuesday the 13th people would be scared and what not on that date too. Then followed it with stupid interpreters.
