Had a rhodesian ridgeback/lab mix, put down in january due to health reasons. She was a sweetheart.

Still have another lab mix (not sure what the mix is) he's a great guy as well. Poor fella is getting old and grey. He's a good shop dog, and I even got a corner of the buell in this pic...

Thinking about getting another.

Sorry to hear about the ridgeback non dog owners dont understand how hard it is to lose a dog, you will NEVER find loyalty that matches the loyalty of a dog! The old boy looks real relaxed! my dog is 14 years old now and struggling a bit bless him!

Oh wow never a dull moment in your house then! lol it is a fine lookin dog for sure! maybe you should do dog behaviour classes? even if it doesnt work you could have hours of youtube footage! maybe even fame and fortune could come from it! lol :eagerness:

Chicago, I'm in the same boat, my dog Greddy has cost us a lot of money, and stress, but I would never give him up. Everyone says how can a 45lb dog do so much damage, but he does. Also we get "he needs to be trained better" but I would bet he is better trained than 99% of dogs. It's mental, and nothing we can do, but not get him in those situations. Luckily only bill has been a $120 urgent care bill... Just hundreds in training, behaviorist, and meds.

Worst part is like you said, great looking dog and all the kids at the park want to run up to him and pet him.

Hey Chicago, that is an A game dog. Take him to obedience school, then take him again, and again. Always had shephards and they are amazing smart and intuitive to their own detriment at times.

Chicago, I can help with that too. Like I said, we have been through a lot. I suggest seeing a behaviorist that specializes in this, they might suggest meds like prozac. Then enroll in some basic classes that are aggressive dog friendly (no off leash, and everyone there has an aggressive dog, so nobody gets close) then work off the meds. Greddy is much better now after about 6 months on meds and tons of training.

Got this girl when my daughter turned 2. The dog was my daughters Bday present. Honestly I was just searching for a boxer.
Her name is Daisey and she was a rescue. We got her from a young couple that was about to ditch her at an area rescue. The vet we took her to said the rescue would have put her down had she actually been taken in by them. I thought I was getting one over on the joint by not having to pay adoption fees and just taking ownership of the dog in the parking lot! She was real messed up. Any infection and parasite you can think of she had. She was under weight by about 15lbs. My wife saw all this but didn't say a thing. She knew I was just seeing Daisey for what she is the best dog I've ever known! I don't have to leash her. She walks by my side with minimal instruction. She is super smart. Knows all sorts of tricks and responds to my whistle. Doesn't matter where we are or what we're doing she always comes to me if I whistle for her. One of my neighbors tries to kid nap her by enticing her with treats. All I have to do is whistle and she'll drop the treat and come running back to my side. Shes great with kids. She's just an awesome dog. I guess it's the reward I get for dropping a small fortune on her!

Thanks TeamH i will keep an eye on your bike! i have the streetfighters Inc cnc hidden rear master cylinder but like my caliper on show for my own bike, want to fit a better/sexier caliper at some point though and for my intake i used the K&N RX4010 filter fitted straight onto the manifold and made a fabric heat shield to fit underneath, works good! so far!! ha ha
