Well, apparently harley calls em and says no it cant be fixed. What could have happened? It ran so good for me,.im baffled.

He probably did an oil change himself and did not snug oil filter and that is why there was oil on the floor of the garage then road it. ( his problem )

I live too far away plus im busy with my job to look at it. Have no reason to either. He aint getting anything from me. I told him I changed oil in the fall and it had 400 miles or so since. Cant see why he would even touch it. But being a used vehicle sale im protected from recourse on their part. Even if I had goofed it up it wasnt intentional

F that guy... if the title was signed and dated its his prob. The mothers statement sums up that he was negligent in vehicle maintenance not that you failed to disclose any problems during the sale.

its his problem now.is this the one you bought this past nov and have had nothing but problems with?

Yea 95. Most of the "problems" were due simply as a result of my lack of experience with bikes. I posted here because you all have been really helpful and non-judgmental. Once I learned its finicky nature and how it wanted to be treated, it was 100% awesome. Like I said, ignorance is no excuse but it can be if you're new to motorcycles.....

AS IS is exactly what it says. Its up to him to check the bike over. buellxb is prolly right, he pegged it. If you sold him a solid bike then don't worry about it and tell him to kiss your ass. And if he wants to sell have him call me :)

I think that the kid did mess this one up from reading your posts. But I will say I have a 2000 X1 and redid the motor a few times over now but I have had my filter come loose on me once but I noticed that right off O thats right my leg was covered in oil and the rear tire was shot from being oil soaked [confused] think the kid would have had something like that done also.
