To add some fuel to the fire this was what the buell version of the vrod engine was suposed to look like.

i would like to say i am wrong and shit i hope so but Erik isn't 35 anymore and i wouldn't blame the man for just saying i had a real hot poke at it but don't know if i can start from scratch anymore.I do not doubt the blokes passion and we all know he creates a great motorcycle in all aspects, radical fun and totally original.Dont forget that he had a great team to build the bikes we love and this isn't easily obtainable. Please Erik prove me wrong.

okey,

Take a look at the pictures on the EBR facebook page were he is sitting on the the new 1190rr and tell me that is a guy who looks like he is ready to throw in the towel. Looks to me like a kid on chistmas morning to me.

Right there with you firebolt!! If anything, I think this has made him even more determined. And now that people have seen what he is capable of, I think that when this non-compete order is up, he will get the financial backing he needs.

I think the biggest thing that will keep him able to get the backing to make a new street bike is keeping him in the magizines and keeping him in the motorcycle public eye. If the motorcycle media forgets him (the haven't so far) then investers may forget too.

I think the only thing that I don't have that EBR is selling is the bikes lol! my bike is completely modded. Anyway I would love to have that Baracuda! even my wife was saying DAYUM! :( and I don't think that EBR is gonna be forgotten that soon! especially since its still a pretty main stream company and it was winning races. he's Still Very into the Racing World! Lets just hope this 1190R is gonna get him up there even further! and maybe just maybe... he'll come back out to the public!

for assault with a motor vehicle as I shove a fatboy up his a**

I read this before, but it struck me a lot funnier this time. [up]

I had waited to read this article because I prefer reading the actual magazine, but I got tired of waiting and printed it out. GREAT article, and very informative. Really a shame to read just how close Buell was to producting a full line of bikes. I could have gotten way behind a middleweight triple (Was the codename "Sugar?" ). With any luck, the right backing, and an improving economy, I'm starting to think we haven't seen the last of EB and production bikes.

finally found the magazine and i feel sick to my stomach. when i was younger i always wanted a harley, i grew up around them. i will never have one in my garage now. if i want a cruiser i will have to build one

ok i'm a bit slower and not as up to date as the magazine owners here so lemme ask a couple questions. 1) whens the 15 month non-compete clause over with? 2) bombardier is the same company as polaris right? 3) what magazine? i barely found out about this no more buell thing in january.
a victory buell would be sweet but if you want a cruiser check out big dog
