OK, It's only when I'm accelerating do I hear what sounds like the valves are tapping. Not all the time, but really hear it when I jump on it hard. Is there something in ecmspy, do I need to remap, take to dealer (yuk) to have them adjusted? Has anyone else had this problem? What was done? any help would be great. BTW, XB12R with K&N and Hawk.

High test fuel only.Use 92oct fuel hoses only not multi oct one hose systems
its a harley derived engine, they all make odd noises, unless you hear clanking or you definitly know what pinging sounds like i think your not enjoying your ride enough and spending too much time listening to the engine singing..
and most of that ^^^^ came from a harley/buell technician cause i was also worried about my engine making weird noises at the time

Its your intake valves opening and closing. Normal, if you open you inner air box and cover you can really here it.
