Rhino, I didn't know you were in San Dimas? I lived in Claremont for a couple years, and went to Cal Poly for my graduate degree.

I'm up for a ride (even though I no longer ride a Buell) in the future in the Malibu mountains, if anyone wants to tag along.

Maybe. I need to go to cycle gear and get the girlfriend's CBR key replaced so we can go out on her day off Monday. Where/when were you going to go, thrstmech?

no where in particular, just wanna break in the new rear tire and seat, well after I've had a cup of joe, breakfast and clean her up...she got dirty after Friday's rain...bummer, work during the week days, wish I had at least one weekday off to ride while everyone was at work...keeps most of the fruits and nuts off the road:D

I pulled up next to an xb9sl on hwy 1 in Santa Monica. Pennsylvania plates I think. Had some fun heading up the 10. Cool sighting

Saw an 1125CR on PCH earlier. Any one of you guys? I'm rocking an XB12S with red wheels and black plastics, so if you see me, dont be afraid to run me down and chat me up. I don't bite! [smirk]

saw an 08 i think, red translucent plastics and red wheels, on santa monica blvd and overland in century city. Which one of you was it??

Was just sitting at my desk and heard a cool bike. Looked out and it was an xb lightning with amber plastics. Anyone riding down Atlantic through Bixby Knolls in Long Beach this afternoon?

Well im here, but without the buell. Im in Los Angeles gonna be heading through san diego again this evening. Looks like some really good riding out here. Especially on 94 as long as the road stays clean. Would have to watch out for the gravel patches. Other than that it looks really nice.[up]

dude welcome to SoCal:D the 94 has some nice twisties here and there...start out from the south bay and ride inland from there into Campo and further out, or or jump off to the 8 for a bit, get off again and head into Julian and such, Borrego ride is another great route, let's not forget Palomar...see what you've been missing being stuck on the east coast, LOL :D

I'm probably heading down there next weekend. I couldn't this time because my front brake rotor and pads Ned to be replaced.

When are we going to do a Mass SoCal ride? I hear alot of talk but still nothing confirmed or in motion!!!!!

When the weather warms up a bit. I'm a big baby. Have abandoned commuting a number of times recently when I woke up to 25° temps in East San Diego. [sad]

I was planning on it. But bruised hip so there went that plan. My route is usually up to Santa ysabel/banner grade/yaqui pass lunch in borrego then up montezuma.
