Where does everyone hang their spare helmets when riding? I have put mine on the left passenger peg, thinking it would be up and away from anything where it would be subject to harm or damage, but that was not the case. I rode about 40-50 miles with it and, even though the helmet is tightened down to the hanger, it rubbed on the swingarm, leaving a 4 inch line of bare metal from the wear. This in on my lightning, and I know that the lightning and firebolt passenger pegs differ, but any suggestions/experience that would help?

Thanks,
Joe

Don't take spare helmets when you ride.

1. You don't really want company.

2. What do you do with a spare helmet when riding? It just gets in the way and damages things.

I suppose you could put it in a rear carrier but the next question will be: what do I do with a rear carrier when somebody is going to sit there?

I have used a cargo net while attaching the helmet to the grab handle on the seat. it works, looks like ****, but it works.

Lamarchangel - I can't just simply turn all of the beautiful girls away from a ride, although sometimes I may be better off that way :p

Zeroflat - that sounds good. I really do not mind if it looks kinda crummy because a big scratch on my swingarm looks like **** as it is.
