Looking way into the high mileage future are there any Buell/Harley special tools that you really wouldnt be able to complete a repair without? I want to be able to attempt any future repairs to my bike both big and small without any shop help (obviously not reboring, machining or engineering stuff etc) i know the subject of what if any spares we should all be stocking up on has been done before but i dont think this has? Curious what you all think? Julia needs me right now (she is ok though) so i will check back in tomorrow!! Thanks chaps! Goodnight America!! :eagerness:

Buells are pretty simple and exposed to work on. Even a 'crank tool' can be made from scrap aluminum. I think the only 'tool' I'd get familier with is ECMDroid, or ECMSpy. Everything else is hammer simple.

Right so thats a TPS wrench (metric/standard) a hammer and a bit of scrap aluminium! Thanks chaps i feel much more confident for the future now!! Would snap-on be the best to get? you bunch of smartarses! LMFAO!! :applause: :eagerness:

Hey dude, I find that I can do most anything with my heckythump and my left hand threaded metric shiftometer.
Almost forgot... also very important; cocky's friend, chewy & gaffa.
That just about does it all!

Thanks Everyone this is turning into an information gold mine i just hope my toolbox is big enough to hold all this stuff!! ha ha ha ha ha :encouragement:

Fuel pump removal tool, clutch compressor, fork compressor, fork seal driver...a box of T-27 bits...

I have taken apart and rebuilt a couple Buells now, and that's about all I would say is needed without getting into the engine/transmission

Thanks AZ i have the fork tools covered (sorry i should have said that!) but yes the fuel pump and clutch tools are worth getting! with my right arm disability i feel that the tools should make any job that bit easier with reduced risk of damage!

torque wrench a MUST

big ass breaker bar

bunch of various extensions in all drives and swivels

compressor and air-tools ... air ratchet is handy
