Spray on Truck Bedliner, WHAT!?

Those Pirelli Corsa's definitly seem a bit more round than the Pilots. My Pilots seem to have more surface area.

Did this to my subframe and tail piece. Matches the factory frame almost perfectly on my 09SX.

Next up on the mod list I think is chopping the amber windshield. it sticks up way too high.

I just wish I wasn't such a spaz, I'm nervous that my nervous nelly hands will just make it all wavey and nonsense.

Very cool but I'd love to see it in the daytime a few pics. How much would it cost to have some one do it for ya at a place that does bedliners for trucks?

Baja - I'll have to see if I can find the UV Protector.

It'd be nice to not have to redo this. Taping those lines wasn't exactly easy.

I meant like a few different angles in the sun the whole bike, tough to see the areas that got taped off its all black on the airbox cover. Just trying to decide it I'd want to do it to my bike.

I'll bust out the real camera this week and get pictures. These were cellphone pics (DROID!)

Basically, the airbox cover is sprayed on the top facing. The sides where your legs usually are were left to show regular paint.

The tail section, only the seat cowl was done.
More pics to follow.

Also, I think I changed my mind on the windscreen. The P51 bike has me thinking I might make a windscreen out of polished diamond plate steel.

I'm giving this a shot as soon as I can get over to an autoparts place or lowes and get some spray on bedliner, so in the next day or two. Regular blue painters tape good to use for the masking? Going to do my flyscreen and the top of the airbox...

I used green masking tape just because the label said "Sticks better". I'm a sucker for good packaging. ("yea you are.")

Ha, I have a roll of that green tape at home, too! Says something about some compound in it that expands when paint hits it to make a cleaner tape line...

heres the 1st app; Only 1 layer; it got eazy from then on

To get the paint to stay and protect the bedliner all you need to do is spray the liner heated up a little (little over room temp) and then spray a clear or black UV paint over the bedliner before it cools.
