starter won't turn over

no power to starter when I push the start button.the only thing I've done is lubricated the kickstand switch with wd40 because it wasn't working

Jump the two wires on the kickstand switch and see if it will crank.

Did that , still won't turn over.

Hm... Its been awhile since ive had a tuber so I wont be much help. Check the simple things neutral safety switches, ignition fuses and power at the starter.
