Stator clearance issue

Ok so, this XB9 City X that I picked up has that stator clearance problem where the bolts hit the wire retention clip, tearing up the stator. The basic way to fix that is to grind down the bolts a few mm.. but I was wondering if there is an aftermarket stator at a good price that wont have the clearance issue to begin with? If anyone knows a good stator at a decent price that doesn't have clearance issues please put up a link to it .. thanks

ok ... how do I remove the clip? It seems to be in there with some kind of brass rivet..
