atf if you have a frendly dealer they could send a burned up one back give you the new 09 and put it in.
really you would almost hsve to have a friend that works there to pull string

First problem is that EBR is it's own company it isn't a bought out BMC with a name change. Legally EBR can't do much about an 1125 Buell it for sure can't provide warrenty. Even though they source the Rotax engine I am sure there are limits to what they can offer as parts to the 1125 BMC bikes without opening themselves to legal problems.

Some people just don't understand infringement laws.

EBR owes you nothing BMC(HD) owes that fix. I would also be very surprised if this isn't killing Mr. Buell personally as he appears to someone that cares about what he's doing.
I just looked at the store write up. Worded very carefully. Notice what it does and doesn't say.

I agree with the last 2 posts. I also think, that if you get an 1125 for round 5-6 grand, and do this fix yourself, and then have an amazing motorcycle for around 6-7k total, that is still an awesome deal.

Considering they were around 13k new and all the other bikes that compare to a liquid cooled 1000+cc v-twin bike start around 12+k new.

just my opinion. I love my CR and my XB.

My only question is would it work fine for road use and with all the lights and accessories we may use since it is a lower wattage?

I think they know that this product would make money....so they conceived it and built it and are now selling it. I do think that will work for street use and i also think think that it may have a little more output then the 08....think 425-475 watts. I think this fix as probably better then putting an 08 stator on. I only wish it came out a week sooner. Just bought a whole 08 motor off ebay and shipping for it wasnt cheap to Alaska

njdevil, I have the same concerns. I would the the see them make an 1190 spec charging system upgrade available to 1125 owners. Something like that I would pay money for.
