stiff rear brake

hey guys, i have an 03 xb9r. my rear brake is really stiff i was just wondering if this is normal and if not what can i do to fix it. when i say stiff i mean the pedal is very stiff and if i try to slow down it grabs really hard or none at all. once again thanks for the help guys.

Pretty normal there stiff. But maybe the pads are old causing it to be grabby

the pads are getting low. from my experience with cars i would have thought that would make it less grabby. learn something new everyday. new pads will be ordered asap thanks RT
