OK, I changed brake pads, flushed both brakes, and clutch. Now when I push start button nothing happens. I have to push it few times for it to start. Once it's running, there is no issue. What a hell? None of what I did has anything to do with electric stuff.

Thank You.

hmmmm [confused]That is odd. Mine has always had a slight delay as I push the starter button.
Like maybe one second before the starter engages. It has always done this..well since I bought it with 5,700 miles.
I just went passed 36,000 btw

Not sure why yours just started doing that though. Maybe the battery is just starting to get weaker.
Hopefully others will chime in with more answers.

Sounds like the button contacts are dirty, take the pod apart and give it a liberal shot of WD-40, lube up your cables while you are there, don't use the wd for the cables tho

After the WD-40 treatment from this guy^^^^ then squeese some Diaelectric grease in the housing, actualy in both housings, If one set is dryed up then the other side is too. This has happened to me a few times, so im sure its your problem, I ride mine in all wether thow so im brutal on these exposed parts.

not hard at all if its your first time, two screws, take your time and look at how it comes apart, you will be fine

Was there a click with each button push before she finally cranked over?

How long was the bike down during the maintenance?

Yes there was a click. It was few days of not riding.
So I took off back fairing. Pulled out starter relay. Black one, bottom left. On the cover it was marked as start. The bottom was covered in some kind of, greaseish type thing. I am guessing it was starting to go bad? I put in the auxilary one that was in the same box. It starts up without issues now, but when it does engine light is coming on.

I went by what was on the top of the cover, in the 1125 Manual Aux and Key Switch are flipped. I am guessing cover is correct, otherwise key wouldn't work.

ahhhh you got a click.... you need to include these things in the original story.... the relays have givin me probs over the years too

Well I didn't hear a click at first, because of the background noise. Anyway I wonder why engine light comes on, with auxiliary relay? Anyway to get the codes without reader tool?

P.S. I ordered two replacement relays just in case. Thankfully they are cheap.
