I currently have a 2007 STT and was thinking about getting a uly. I really like the way my STT handles and I am worried that changing to an Uly might disappoint me. Does anyone have any experience between an STT and a Uly? What are the different parts beside the seat and fairing?

Thanks

The suspension on the Ulysses is about 2 inches higher than all the other models. I have owned 4 Uly's and they all handled great on the street. They're not razor sharp like a ninja or cbr, etc but they'll keep up with just about anything out there with a competent rider behind the bars. The off road capability more than makes up for the edge it lacks on the street.

Buy one.

on my 5th uly....only logged approx. 400 miles on a TT i owned 2 years ago. most everything interchanges but uly roomier from an ergonomic stand-point. i found the handling comparable though i am no hard-charger....uly handles wonderfully. IMO uly much better multi-purpose machine.

Uly, there's no noticable difference in handling other than 10lbs and 1" taller. The suspension still handles everything you throw at it. The highway ride is really nice as well.

Biggest thing is what you prefer visually.
I think the well set up Ulysses is most capable Buell & top 5 of all HD models ever produced.

These motors make power similar to other motors with 4-500cc more displacement (air cooled 2 valve competition only)

As for 1125... Well probably worst buell ever made

My opinions, ride them for yourself then ride the competition. Anything with 2 wheels and a motor can be fun.

My resume:
64 XB
21st uly arrived 2 weeks ago, I found a parts one that would of been 22 but made more sense to send it to Paul
