Garden City...dont make it to Wichita much...Alefs kept telling me the stock Left scoop didnt exist even though they had 2 buells left on the floor (i think)
I go to Hays for service. Once i get my license ill be out more!
You ever make it out this way?

I dont go to Alefs either. My father in law does harleys on the side and had a confrontation with them. My bike was bought from its original owner in hays. I cant say I have ever been to Garden City.

I'm gonna be living in Wichita for the month of May and then I'll be in OKC. I shipped my bike out today from Utah, but I wont be out there for almost 2 weeks. The weather is just becoming good riding weather too.

Yeah its 80 right now. We go on random rides every other Wednesday night. We just pick a place out of town to eat and then we all head that way. welcome to join while your in town. I am actually in augusta rather than wichita

Well GC is nothing much.Ive only found 1 road thats got 3 slight turns haha. what you get for living in kansas. Hoping this summer to have license and head out that way some time over summer.

Doeflers in hays isnt bad but not great either atleast they get the parts and send them.

its a small shot, but i might be up there sometime next month or two. part of me wants to raise hell in alefs

Its an 04 Red Xb12s with translucent amber wheels. Had 258 miles on it and gave $4500. Kid got scared of it and parked it....lol

You lucky SOB. mine was $3600 from dealership 3k original .6k from shipping NC to here and doc. 5.5k Miles it wasnt HD but it was a stealership.
Nice Snag though. I cant believe you got a deal like that.
Did he tell you why he got scared lol. They arnt that scary are they

His girlfriend went off the back. His dad got him way too much of a bike for his first one at the age of 16. He only put 100 miles on it and his dad put the rest on it.

It WAS completely stock.

I done the
Air Box mod
Breather Mod
Removed all the uneeded crap...I.E pass pegs and reflectors

Ive got a D&D exhaust,EcmSpy, K&N, Flush Mount R1 signals, and INtegrated tail light on the way.

Mine was all stock too.

Hawk Pipe, Hawk Race ECM, K&N, Tail chop, added Frame pucks, Buell air box protector, & in the mail is Pegasus decal for tank. If i get some more $ ima look at new signals.

Stealership failed to mention it went through a "Flood" build up was even on top of the engine..but everything runs good

Dont have a clear one on the tail chop...Randy Hawkins did it along with my pipe. Amazing turn-around and customer service he does custom pipes for $200 price range plus reflash a Slightly modified Race ECM.
Back to the Chop. Plan everything out and think about it. I did mine and now this summer i have to fab up a License plate bracket. I need to run a light to my plate so i can ride at night and iam looking into some LED's for the whole bike. Turned out really clean though.

If you send it to Randy it will come back done but its not pefect and ready to re mount it he does it for free and only spends 10 min or so on it. You have to prime/sand it and repaint to your satisfaction.

I think im gonna take a stab at it. I am just gonna run my tag on the back plastics. Idk about GC but here they dont care about tag lights on bikes. Ive had my rear fender shaved off my other bike for a year with no tag lights and never had a problem.

Ill look into it then. Just be carefull when you screw into the plastic because of all the stuff that is mounted behind it and its not very thick.
You cant really see it in the pics but mine is screwed into the plastics. I just bent the plate down a bit to make it more visible. (Riding around on a permit iam not taking much more chances)[smirk]

Well...short story.
Bought it and while it was being shipped realized it wasnt there. Alefs told me it didnt exist. Got a Left and Comfort Kit Right for my bike from Doeflers in Hays. And last week I felt something hit my leg didnt realize till today that my scoop broke off.[sad]
So Tuesday Iam ordering another
