The Right comfort is nice ive never heard my fan since i got it. Just a heads up You need 3 of the standard T27 screws (I think) and 3 of something I havent figured out out. I got told it was a 10x32 1/2in.

Now its just to find someone around here with them..go to store A they dont have it but B should B says to go to A. Haha

Hey guys.
I just bought a 07 XB9R. Literally just bought, on friday the 21st. Mines Red and has 3600 miles on it now.
All stock as far as I can tell.

I am about to order a Jardine can and the ECM spy stuff so I can tune it for the pipe. Not really looking for more power, just want to hear the V-twin. :D

I live inbetween Medicine Lodge and Coldwater right off the highway. Just west of my house there's 6 miles of smooth as glass turns. They just paved the road two summers ago.

My girl friend and I took turns riding the bike down that road tonight. :D The road is a lot of fun, but the wind gusts....not so much.

Anyway, if there are any rides, meets or groups planned, let me know.

edit: Bardo, we have the same jacket....looks like I might have to go find another one. :p

save your $$$ I got another its the Kevlar mesh one a bit older.

I dont know about meeting up, but I might be able to head over that away sometime this summer...Just gatta bring my buddy on his V-star:p

Before you get that Jardine you might wanna look around. Some guys seem to have lots of hassle with rivits breaking, repacking every 5k, and some say a loss in torque.
Ive never ran it though.

Ya we both run hawks. $200 free flowing pipe with (Hawk)race ecm cant really beat that. Plus turn around is just about 1 week. You can think of some custom stuff for him to do too. I had my tips angled more down and out to be like a street sweeper style and to be off the tire. Just sit back and think of something or call him.

Its loud like the jardine but it creates more back pressure (No torque loss like Jardine). Quite a few people got them and no complaints, but you can go cutsom with tips and other things just give him a call.

FYI he knows quite a bit. You recieve your bike, ride a few times and once your sure everythings ok you pay him[smirk]

I have a D&D. I was gonna run a hawk but found a good used D&D for cheap. The buell we have at work has a jardine and it has jb weld holding the back on it from the previous owner.

O...Well he can hunt around for used I never thought of that. D&D new is quite a bit isnt it?

I personally have everything against the Jardine. I havent heard 1 good thing about them besides they are loud and my Hawk is plenty loud for me. I wear plugs on long trips

Ouch...
Not to be a momma's boy...but me and my buds dont got a snowflakes chance in africa making it up there. Parents dont like the idea of 2 kids who havent had their license for less than a year going up to witchita by ourselves. So if you guys ever make it out to this side of the state lemme know[smirk]

I will be in Dodge city tomorrow getting my truck serviced.

I'm getting a pretty good deal on the Jardine. I've thought about Hawk, Spec OPS and a few others. I decided to go the inexpensive way that keeps me on the road. i.e., not having a bike sitting in the shop waiting on a pipe to get back from someone that's hacking it up.

I do have a pretty full fab shop myself, so I might do my own hackpipe, or something with a flowmaster can. I haven't decided yet.

The other reason I am going Jardine is for the time being if I want to quiet it down, I can always put the stocker back on.

I have tracked down a bike for my g/f to ride this season, hopefully I'll be meeting the guy in the next few days to make the trade. It's not a Buell, but not everyone is perfect.

Somewhere around Pratt or Greensburg would probably be a good meeting point for the western crowd to meet up with the Wichita crowd.

I will be a good child and repack it every 3k miles. I promise. :D
