I bought some flat track bars for my XB9S . Taller, wider, and more swept back. I'm thinking I might need different cables. Basically longer probably. Any sources or maybe Sportster stuff?

Unless you put some ape hangers on I can’t imagine you will need longer cables. Try it first and see. If you do, I guess see what is on the Ulysses model and get those.

Marty: The X...XT...and SX City-X models have cross-braced bars. Both throttle cables a bit longer than the S Lightning models. NO Sportster XL clutch cables interchange. Reason is the XL cable lever end has a large round loop which is pinned to the lever. Buell XB models have large round "noob" style barrel on lever end.

Well, about $300 for t-cable and clutch cable makes me want to trial fit the flat track bars and go from there.

I have a used uly clutch cable I want to get rid of.

That said I was able to run the renthal 7/8 street flat bar (the one with the brace) with the stock XBs cable (barely).

I have a fat bar kit from Diesel Moto and a Renthall flat bar I'm about to try to install on my SS. Hoping the cable lengths are suitable.

If it’s longer than 759, it probably won’t. Mine was maxed out and barely fit.
If yours works, great! If not, let me know. I plan on being at attesa in casa grande sometime in January.
