Here is the tinting I bought and here is what it looks like. In person it looks even better. It costed me $4.50 for the tenting spray $4.50 shipping under $10 dollars to do this mod using my own stock tail light lens. You can go farther by getting LED etc. I am happy wth this. Check out this sight for the tinting I used.

Here is the lens finneshed. I did not include a pic of the stock lens cause we know what it looks like bright red.

Good deal Bright. Please let me know how it holds up over time. I'm definitely curious.

I did the same thing on my bike over a year ago, ive also done this to a few taillights of vehicles ive owned. My only problem is that the tinting spray becomes dull after awhile and it required a respray. Since I have a fender chop, ive resprayed the lens like 3 times. I actually had to use paint thinner the last time to get it off. Other than all that Its a great cheapo mod that looks great. Maybe not legal but good looking none the less.

I got some at my local AutoZone, I think it was rustoleum or one of those brands. I put on about three coats and a coat of your basic clear coat and it looks perfect. I will post pics when I get a chance.

Im in South City, Saint Louis. South West Gardens area.:D
The plate does look HUGE!! Im not shure why it looks so big.

Also The tinting that I used is made for plastic modles, so it actually melts into the plastic of the lense and becomes part of the plastic. I used 4 coats. You can go lighter or darker its up to you. For the price you cant go wrong.

Yeah I knew that except for the Minnesota fact[up] I was just makin a joke cause in the pic it looks huge. Probably looks big to me cause mine is mounted vertical.
