tank flush on an 03 XB9S

Just bought it and it has been sitting for a year.I dont know much about the bike yet but i do know the tank is also the aluminum frame. Im wondering how i should go about flushing out the bad gas and whatever else has built up ? any help is greatly appreciated as it is sitting in the garage until i complete this.
