Heres a brand new GB exhaust for your XB. Fully stainless and ready to mount. Finished and brushed... Everything from the bend back. Comes with a new clamp for the bend-to-silencer connection, uses the OEM rear mount and OEM rear T-Bolt clamps. DOES NOT utilize the chin fairing.

This exhaust is safe to run on your OEM program, does better on the race program, but as for ANY modification, a good tune based on your mods will gain the most benefit. It wakes the bike up and puts some of the others to shame. (ie jardine, etc...) Xopti tested performance and compatibility! This system utilizes a magnaflow silencer and weighs in at about half the weight of the stock system. The exhaust valve for the 1203cc motors is also unused. Produces a nice rumble at idle without being too loud, but really comes alive at WOT while still maintaining a deep growl. :D

The price for the complete set-up is $465 plus shipping.

If you have any other questions, let me know.....this baby is goin on auction soon. As of now, this is the last one. I should have more by the middle of next month. Happy shopping folks! Give your bike the breathability its been asking for all winter!!!

looks & sounds good, gb!

how about making an additional bracket for the chin fairing?
when on circuit in euro country you need to mount an full oil pan for safety reasons. ;)

i made brackets for my bike, but its a pain in the butt. i had to go through a lot of design changes to keep them from cracking from the vibration. i didnt want to offer a product that i couldnt fully support. so as of now, i recommend getting brackets from drummer or jardine or something.

if someone wants to go racing, then maybe we can work something out for a bracket.

exactly. i tend to want to build superior stuff to whats out there.

as of the current design on my bike, theyve lasted a couple thousand miles so far.

Gbalias: Did you by any chance try welding stock fairing brackets to the exhaust? If so whats your verdict. Just wondered because I have a set already cut off and prepped for welding. Thats what I am going to try. The one that will be a pain is the front chin mounts. Great exhaust though!!

i entertained the idea, but wanted to keep the items separate so the pipe could be run without fairing and not look like somethings missing. plus, id have to build my own anyways since i didnt want to compromise quality/longevity by welding plain steel to all the stainless. different filler metal needed. ;)

me personally, not yet.

Chris at TrackDayMag is getting a prototype to do some testing and racing with. i need to modify the design a bit for the race belly pans. but he said they would throw it on the dyno. Xopti did some road/track testing and said it blows away the jardine, better pull than the special ops, and a bit better than the drummers. so its promising. but like i said, with ANY modification, its best to tune the FI system to match.

Thread Bump, anything going on here?

Wondering if you ever had the opportunity to make more pipes or not?

Not enough searching, lol. What did you order? If it's not a jardine I may be interested in getting it from you..Depends though, if GBalias is still putting a few out maybe I can get on a list or something, it sounds wicked good.

Already have it. It's custom ceramic coated black Remus. I like the sound of the Remus, but much prefer GB's Magnaflow setup. All it needs now is a black ceramic coated option ;)

will be working on building more of these if people are interested.

right now its kinda a made-to-order type thing. i dont stock them...although if the demand is high enough...ill build a lot of them, THEN list it for sale.
