I've been talking with him off and on today. Told him I can't wait to buy a new Buell when he starts making street bikes again. he replied:

"Thanks! One of these days, one of these days..."

I hope he seriously does! I almost got a chub just thinking about it...

I sent him a request about a month ago and added a short message about how I love my bike, can't wait to see what's next for him, yadda yadda. He accepted within 15 minutes and when I logged back in, I had a new message from the man himself saying "Glad you are enjoying it. That black and red combo is beautiful!"

Can't get much cooler than a message from the guy who designed your bike. [up]
