yea im hoping it wont it seems fine so far. i even sprayed water on it and it seems fine. we'll see how it does in the rain

well got the bike basically finished today. got some lower wider handelbars comming tommorow and i just got to get plates put on it. I got my wife on it and got her riding around are driveway she did pretty good. got her started just walking it around getting the feel for the clutch and before two long she was riding laps shifting into 2nd. I think she get the hang of it in no time. its still in the 30's here though so we got plenty of time before its good riding weather.

Recover that seat if you don't like the color or if it stains - black heel die, some mink oil, some sealer to protect vs rain and moisture, Corbin is the best you can get!

yea the seat is nice. it sat out in the rain the other day and its fine. im not worried about it. i went over the leather with 120 grit before i brushed the stain on so it soaked in pretty good

That bike was hideous when you got it with the brown seat and what not..imo. It looks great now. Very clean with a good color scheme. Great job on it!

I like the black on black. what kind of header wrap is that? It looks like you did a good job of keeping it straight and even.

the brand is "cool it" i think. got it at autozone for like 40 bucks. it was the black kind but alot of it wore off so i went over it with black flame proof header paint

Best tires for a Blast are Pirrelli Diablo in the 110/70 front, 140/70 rear - 5000 to 7000 miles and it will feel like its on rails - enjoy!

yea i was wondering abot putting a little wider tires on it. that rear bycicle tire doesn't do it for me. is 140 the widest you can go?
